Glyn Bailey

Music, Lyrics, Book & Additional Orchestrations

​Glyn is originally from Nottingham, England, and is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London). He holds an MMus in Songwriting (with honours) from Bath Spa University as well as numerous degrees and diplomas in Performance and Composition from other colleges and universities. He has taken a music business course at The Juilliard School in New York and has pursued doctoral level studies at the University of Winchester in England. He is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

​

As a performer, Glyn has enjoyed a successful career on some of the world's leading cruise lines as well as numerous land-based shows including the original London production of Evita.

​

Glyn's award-winning musical SCANDALOUS! - based on the life of the notorious English novelist, D.H. Lawrence - has had seven productions to date, including the US premiere in New Orleans and a debut in London's West End.

Keith Thomas

Keith is a graduate in Musical Theatre of Guildford School of Acting, England. In his early career he performed in various productions in the UK.

​

His numerous directing credits include FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, CABARET, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, EVITA, THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, TITANIC THE MUSICAL, JEKYLL & HYDE THE MUSICAL, BAD GIRLS THE MUSICAL, SMIKE, OLIVER!, THE LAST FIVE YEARS, BILLY LIAR,  RASHOMON and SPAMALOT, as well as television adaptations of Shakespeare's ROMEO & JULIET, TWELFTH NIGHT and THE MERCHANT OF VENICE.

​

Having directed the original concert version in 2000, Keith subsequently became co-book writer of the musical now called SCANDALOUS! In 2008 he directed the concert production at Nottingham Playhouse, England. In 2009 he designed the full stage production in New Orleans. In 2013 he directed the full stage production at the Bridewell Theatre, London.

​

Having sold Sightline, his successful video production company, Keith now works as a freelance producer and director of business, communication, training and education films, as well as television and cinema commercials.

​

Keith lives in England with his wife, Amanda. Their son Samuel graduated in musical theatre studies from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London, and is now working successfully in the theatre industry.

Theasa Tuohy

Theasa is a long-time daily journalist who has written two full-length plays, THE PRODIGAL DAUGHTER and UP THE NEW YORK TIMES. Her award-winning novel, THE FIVE O’CLOCK FOLLIES, the story of a woman war correspondent in Vietnam, was featured in the Washington, D.C., Newseum’s year-long exhibit – Reporting Vietnam. JENNY FLYNN, published in 2018, is a story of the competition between two adventuresome women, a tabloid reporter and a stunt pilot. It is set during the time of the 1929 Powder Puff Derby. Theasa is now working on a modern-day mystery series set in Paris.

Theasa graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and studied at Columbia University and at HB Studios in New York. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild and Mystery Writers of America.

Wesley Payne

Wesley is an accomplished stage director, designer, actor and technician. Awarded graduate degrees in theatre studies from the University of Kansas and the University of Missouri-Kansas City, he served as a college instructor for six years. Moving to Chicago, Wesley worked as a director and manager in the non-profit community, and also earned acknowledgment from the city’s Joseph Jefferson Committee for three of his scenic designs.

​

As a commercial producer in Chicago, Wesley operated the Apollo Theatre Center and the Ivanhoe Theatre. As co-owner of the Payne Leavitt Group, with Broadway producer Michael Leavitt, Wesley produced several plays at those venues and others in Chicago. He also served as vice president and board member of the League of Chicago Theatres.

​

In 1991 Wesley moved to New Orleans to accept the position of vice president of entertainment for the Delta Queen Steamboat Co., a cruise line operating vessels on the Mississippi River, Hawaii, the Pacific Northwest, the East Coast of the U.S. and the Great Lakes. While there, Wesley’s musical revues earned recognition as the top-rated entertainment product on Condé Nast Traveler magazine’s annual “Gold List.”

Wesley is currently a freelance writer, director, entertainment consultant and producer. He lives in the New Orleans area with his wife Gwen.

Stephen Duckhum

Director

Stephen directed the American premier of the musical and he has been closely associated with its progress as a consultant and advisor.

​

From an early age Stephen has been involved with the musical theatre, first as a performer, then Musical Director and finally Director. Among the many musicals he has directed are six European Premieres, TWO BY TWO, PIPE DREAM, WALKING HAPPY, OLYMPUS ON MY MIND, RUTHLESS and ANNIE WARBUCKS. Other titles include MY FAIR LADY, OLIVER!, CABARET, HELLO DOLLY!, SWEENEY TODD, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, GUYS and DOLLS, ANNIE, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS and all the major Rodgers and Hammerstein shows. He has also co-written and directed three World Premieres, CHILD OF THE JAGO, MEN OF MAGIC and VALENTINO.

​

In addition to writing and directing musicals, Stephen has also written nineteen pantomime scripts, which are now published and are performed annually all over Great Britain (including London’s West End) and as far afield as the USA, Australia and New Zealand.

Stephen's debut novel - FINAL CURTAIN - was published in 2022 by Olympia Publishers. This hilarious page-tuner is a heart-warming romp centered around a British theatre company's struggle to save their cherished theatre from demolition.

Ricki Holmes

Orchestrations

Ricki Holmes is also originally from Nottingham, England. He studied classical piano before turning to Jazz Studies at Leeds College of Music, where he excelled as an arranger, composer and pianist. In the mid-1980s, he moved to the United States, where he established himself as a highly successful freelance music arranger and conductor for some of the biggest names in show business.

​

Ricki is actively involved in creating and arranging shows for many of the world’s most prestigious cruise lines and he is also an award-winning screenwriter and director. He is a Licentiate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
